Get Rid of Stretch Marks

Large parts of the body like buttocks, thighs, breasts and abdomen are likely to get stretch marks. It happens due to sudden weight gain, weight loss, pregnancy, muscle loss...etc. Stretch marks are not nice visually and people are seen trying creams and lotions that are Over-The-Counter to get rid of them

Although the creams work on the stretch marks, it is an expensive and a slow affair. There are easier and more effective ways for fading off the stretch marks.

Hydration

Have at least 8 glasses of water everyday for a hydrated skin. A well hydrated skin will have more elasticity and result in lesser stretch marks.

Moisturise

Cocoa butter and shea butter are known to moisturise the skin well. It melts on the skin at body temperature. These moisturisers have antioxidant properties. Helps in keeping the skin healthy and supple.

Potato

Potato can be cut in slices and applied on the affected area. It has collagen building properties. Collagen makes skin restore its natural state by repairing it. The application should be applied and allowed to dry for 10 minutes and rinsed off.

Nutritious Diet

Vitamin C and E are used to develop skin tissues naturally. A diet rich in proteins helps in toning the skin.

Do not scratch the affected area. Exercise helps in providing oxygen to the skin making it healthy. There are laser treatments available which can help in reducing appearances of stretch marks.
